Mad Monarchs 2010

PURPOSE:

The MAD MONARCH Wrestling Club was formed to provide affordable off-season wrestling opportunities for athletes in the Greater Joliet Area.

The Mad Monarch wrestling club's primarily focus is on improving wrestling skills that are transferable to all styles of wrestling.

INSTRUCTION:

The MadMonarch Staff will lead the wrestlers through drills that will focus on mastering the fundamentals that produce champions. Your Club Fee provides you admission as well as instruction at the Mad Monarch wrestling facility 2 nights a week.

The 2010 Off-Season will Focus on 2 different goals
March 1st - 25th practices will focus on getting wrestlers ready for the NHSCA & USAW Folkstyle National Tournaments.

April 6 - July 15th will focus on the Freestyle/Greco Season and getting wrestlers ready for Developmental, State, Regional and National Tournaments.

USA WRESTLING:

All participants must possess a USA Wrestling Membership Card.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MAD MONARCH?
We provide training for Grade School and High School age wrestlers. If you are interested in becoming a Mad Monarch you are invited to attend one of our practices to see if it is right for you.

Club Fees...

Students of Minooka HS District 111 and its feeder schools:
All Members of the MadMonarch's must Possess a Current USA Wrestling Card.
USA Card - $40.00 Check Payable to "IKWF"

Club Fee - $100 for MCHS District Kids

OUT of DISTRICT FEE:
USA Card - $40.00 payable to "IKWF"
Club Fee - $200 for out of MCHS District Wrestlers
 
FACILITY:

The Minooka High School Wrestling Room will be utilized. The room features 4 full mats and can accomodate up to 100 wrestlers at a time.

PRACTICES

Folksyle National Season
March 1st - March 25
Practices Tuesday & Thursday - 6:00-7:30

Freestyle/Greco Season
April 6 - July 15
Practices Tuesday & Thursday - 6:00 - 7:30
TOURNAMENTS

Every weekend throughout March, April, May, & June there are opportunities to COMPETE in local, regional, or national level tournaments.  The Mad Monarchs are here to get you ready for these competitions. 

We will provide information for Off-Season Tournaments. However the Coaching Staff will not be attending most of these events.

It is the responsibility of the Wrestler and his parents to register him for these events.
